World Treasures Music presents
Andrew Odia and Mike BC
Andrew Odia has numerous aliases and production guises - Slow Rotor, EBA, U.V., Faded Alien, Caution!Horses, S10 and Bunker 3 - producing expansive creations and often inspired by electronic music from Chicago, Detroit, Berlin and UK dance music. His genre melding mutations are sometimes rooted in the 80s/90s bleep and bass scene of Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, but with an ear on the future. Andrew’s DJ sets can encompass anything and everything.
A Slow Rotor creation was compiled on Happy Land this year, a compendium of British electronic music (1992-1996), featuring rare collectibles alongside the likes of Aphex Twin and other luminaries – this was the release that got mixed up with Tayor Swift’s record and resulted in the unusual and now fabled pressing of Cabaret Voltaire, etc, on the pop star’s album.
Together with Mike BC, expect gems from around the world and unearthed from deep within their respective collections.
